We are thrilled to announce that Lavinton Lamb won the Silver (Runner-Up) Award in the New Entrants Category at the British Farming Awards last week.
Last weekend was a hectic and exciting one for Lavinton Lamb. While Sophie and Robert were busy meeting our lovely customers at Barnes Food Fair on Saturday, our lamb was making its TV debut – in the capable hands of the chefs’ favourite chef, Sat Bains.
Lavinton Lamb is a finalist in the British Farming Awards, in the category of New Entrants, for farmers who have been in the industry for no more than three years. The award looks for entrants who are “able to demonstrate resilience, tenacity, and determination” in their attempt to pursue their own farm business.
We are very excited to announce that in the Great Taste Awards 2015, Lavinton Lamb was awarded three stars, one each for our Southdown lamb cutlets, merguez lamb sausages, and Moroccan lamb sausages.
We are incredibly proud to announce that Lavinton Lamb is now served at one of the top restaurants in the UK: the three-Michelin-starred Waterside Inn in Bray, run by the highly-respected Alain Roux, son of Michel and nephew of Albert – the famous Roux brothers.
Last Wednesday we were thrilled that Rules, London’s oldest restaurant, put on a fabulous lunch for us. We’re delighted to announce that our milk-fed lamb is now being served at Marcus, the two-Michelin-starred restaurant by Marcus Wareing, at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge, London.
